Matthew Romero is a Support Engineer at SimplifyIT A-Z, where he supports clients through responsive ticket resolution, project assistance, and behind-the-scenes endpoint configuration, patching, and device management.


Matthew earned his Associate Degree in Cybersecurity from Chandler-Gilbert Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity through the University of Arizona. He also holds CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications.

With a strong foundation across IT disciplines and a particular strength in networking and Wi-Fi setup, Matthew brings a practical, people-first approach to support by starting with the simplest, most common solutions and working efficiently toward resolution. He’s proudest of leading a major network rebuild in a 250,000-square-foot warehouse, coordinating across teams to deliver a successful, high-stakes implementation.

Known for being personable and collaborative, Matthew enjoys building relationships with both clients and teammates, and he’s motivated by seeing the real difference IT support can make day to day.
